The University Orientation Plan at the University of Zaragoza (POUZ) aims to assist the integration of students in the University, as well as helping them in their education and development and in gaining employment.
The POUZ takes place and is implemented at each institution according to their peculiarities.
In each academic year, every student is assigned a Teacher-Tutor who is in charge of accompanying and guiding them throughout their undergraduate studies, as well as helping them solve the various problems they may encounter. During the first year there is also a Student Mentor, as well as the figure of the Teacher-Tutor, a role carried out by students in the final years of their degrees and which helps students integrate into university life and study.
In the case of the Faculty of Law, the main aims of the POU are students proper integration into university life, the acquisition of useful instrumental tools in the study of law, the development of appropriate study and work habits, the peculiarities of international mobility in law, guidance in carrying out curricular and extracurricular activities at companies and institutions, as well as professional opportunities and gaining employment in the future.
For those who live outside the city of Zaragoza there are various accommodation options in the city.
The first of these is the wide range of Halls of Residence of various types in the city.
Among the different university residences that exist in Zaragoza, there are two directly managed by the University and located on the Campus where the Faculty of Law is situated (Campus San Francisco): the Pedro Cerbuna University Hall of Residence (CMU) (250 rooms) and the Santa Isabel CMU (192 rooms). In addition to these, there is also the Campus Río Ebro on the outskirts of the city (102 places).
The second option is the renting of rooms in private accommodation or the renting of complete houses or flats. The University of Zaragoza thus has a service to help all those students who are looking for a room or a flat to rent.
